Since being
founded in 2005 by Steve Van Valin and Mike Kight, ACES has experienced early
success with some of the largest regional and national telecommunications and
data communications companies in the country. ACES has dramatically
transformed the way these companies process, manage and leverage their
communications invoice data to manage network expenses to improve
profitability. Customers have saved millions of dollars of
unnecessary network expense due to the ACES invoice management application.
Steve also has
over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry with
responsibilities ranging from Vice President of Network Planning for
Consolidated Communications, co-founder along with Mike Kight of
Network Audit Control (NAC), and Director of Cost Management at Xspedius.
While at Xspedius, Steve employed many of the same techniques that
are presently used in the ACES application to save them several
million dollars in network expense.
Mike started his
career in the banking industry in 1981 working with and creating software for
Loan Department and GL accounting systems for 10 years. As Co-Founder of
ACES, Mike has more than 18 years experience in the design and coding of CABS
billing systems, initially with GDS, a LEC billing service bureau and more
recently with CCI. Mike's experience covers all facets of CABS and the
CABS BOS format, private line and switched bill verification audit and cost
management systems as well as GL/Accounts Payable interfaces.
